The time of Constantine was a major event during the era of the early Christian church. Many responded to Constantine’s call and were baptized: a source of the problems of Christianity ever since. The call of Constantine was not the call of Jesus Christ, which is why it was a problem going forward. We need to conform to Christ and not the preconceived notions of Christianity held by Constantine.
