Transcript

Another story that came up is Virginia Democrats are threatening to use the National Guard against sanctuary counties. What’s a sanctuary county? They’re passing a number of laws in Virginia that are going to be confiscating firearms from private citizens. Lawful, private citizens are now going become unlawful, private citizens because they own certain firearms that they thought they should have the right to buy. And, of course, the Constitution guarantees that the government doesn’t have the right to infringe upon your right to have weapons. Whether it’s swords or guns or bows and arrows. Whatever. That’s your right to bear arms. Arms are all classifications of anything that might be considered a weapon. Theoretically, you own it for self-defense and for the defense of your neighbor. And if you use it in a criminal activity like robbing your neighbor, then that would be a bad thing. But everybody has already accepted the idea that it’s okay to take away from your neighbor with force of arms as long as the government controls those arms. So it was inevitable that eventually, the government wants to take away arms from the private citizen. Because they’re the only ones who want to have arms because they’re in the arms business of forcing the contributions of the people.

If the people had remained Christian—real Christians—not the fake Christian with the fake good news that is now being propagated in most churches, this issue would not have even come up.

Let’s set the scene a little bit. So a sanctuary county is a county that is guaranteeing the Second Amendment. That you have the right to bear arms. And they’re saying they will not enforce these unlawful statutes that are being passed by the Virginia legislature. And of course, anybody who studies the law and studies history knows that, according to the rule book—the same one that they don’t abide by in government… according to the rule book—that any law that violates the terms of the Constitution of the United States is null and void from its inception. But they’re going around thinking that they can pass any law they want and is not null and void from its inception even though they know that it is an infringement upon the right of the individual citizen to keep and bear arms.

But now we have a Democratic Virginia representative, Gerry Connolly, saying, “I would hope that either…” meaning the sheriffs of the counties… “resign in good conscience because they cannot uphold the law which they are sworn to uphold or they are prosecuted for failure to fulfill their oath.” Well, their oath was also to uphold the Constitution. And so sheriffs have to take that oath all time. And the Constitution says “you shall not infringe.” But the Virginia representative, Gerry Connolly, thinks he’s above that law. But people don’t understand these things. They don’t do any study so it’s very easy to throw out these irrational arguments and convince them that, “Oh well, they’re right.” You know, this Virginia representative is right.

He goes on to say, “The law is the law.” Which, great little quote. We’ve heard it many times. And of course, that actually from a Latin idiom… and it states not “the law is the law” but “the legal system is the legal system.” That’s actually what it’s saying. Because it’s using the word “lex legalis,” which has to do with a legal system. They’re not using the word “jus iuris,” which has to do with the law itself. The law itself is the natural law. And the legal system is created within that natural law. They’re not going to tell you all that. Goes over the head of most of you because you’re uneducated and they’ve seen to that. That you don’t really understand what’s going on. You don’t know the meaning of words. They change the meaning of words. And so you’re already disarmed because you don’t have right knowledge to know the truth. You can’t even rationalize the truth because you don’t have sufficient information.
